KGM Participating in Training from Merck

PT Merck Tbk conducted training for PT Kalbio Global Medika to improve knowledge for bioprocessing and material grading for procuring material. All the speakers came from Merck teams who are the technical application experts single use: science and lab solution technical specialists, material formulation process specialists in marketing field, and biopharma material specialists in marketing field. The training includes some following topics:

  1. PFM (Process and Formulation Material)

    • Material Grading and M Clarity Program for Production: Explanation on Material Grading in Merck (M-Clarity Program) which defines product quality levels with the quality attributes.

    • Biopharma material: Simplification of Fed-Batch processes using modified amino acids and improve Poloxamer 188.

  2. Bioprocessing

    • Adding Single Use Bag Mobius Certificate: Explanation on Single Use assemblies grade and basis of classification to support customers in building risk assessment for use in GMP settings.

    • Grading in TFF System and Cassette: Explanation on various types, scales, and considerations of TFF Systems for use in GMP environments.

  3. SLS (Science and Lab Solution)

    • Material Grading and M Clarity Program for Research: Customized solutions for bulk chemicals for different Size, Packaging options, and Custom specifications and also information related to MQ Level Product of Life Science Grade related Cell Culture, Biochemical & Synthesis Application (Bulk and Custom Services Capabilities).

    • Analytical grade/Lab grade: Information on laboratory reagent grade based on the application, including instrument solvents and introduction of the new smart label and unique packaging with suitable safety equipment.
